At Halifax airport. Had an extra hour of sleep … although it does not feel like it …. Hard to say good bye to my mom. I had a great time and so glad to be able to assist her with this move. It was wonderful and bitter sweet. For so many years we lived only a very short distance apart … one hour always connected us either by flight for the past 6 years or by car for previous 20 plus years. Now living opposite parts of this great country. She is “home” and I am back to Victoria …. I am so grateful to have had this opportunity to be with her throughout this emotional and stressful time.
